Multicultural Market Reports
The dramatic rise in the size of the multicultural population has been part of an accelerating change in the composition of the American population as a whole. Between 1990 and 2014 the U.S. population added 60 million Hispanics, African Americans, Asian Americans, and other members of multicultural population groups. By 2044, according to Census Bureau projections, over half the population will belong to a minority group—any group other than non-Hispanic White. By 2060, moreover, nearly a fifth of the population is projected to be foreign-born. The reports in this collection analyzes the trends influencing the rise of multicultural consumers beyond population growth, including examinations of rising buying power and household income, education and employment levels, product preferences, household structure, and much more.
