Fitness cited Packaged Facts' in an article aimed at demystifying food labels for products that are marketed as healthy but may in fact not be as healthful as they claim. According to Packaged Facts' research cited in this story, people are choosing gluten-free products in an effort to ease ailments such as irritable bowel syndrome and attention deficit disorder, but also because they think these products will help them lose weight.
