PL Buyer reports that more and more consumers are choosing private label meat, poultry and fish over branded alternatives as way to save money in the weak economy. Private label meat sales are expected to grow by at least 4 percent annually over the next three years after rising 9 percent from September 2009 to September 2010, according to Packaged Facts.
